Valentin Kramer
Founder and CEO
Valentin studied pharmaceutical biotechnology at the University of Applied Sciences Biberach and
bioprocess development at the University of Applied Sciences Mannheim.
During his studies he developed a tool to improve the efficiency of
biopharmaceutical cell culture processes and decided to turn his idea
into the startup AUCTEQ Biosystems
Frederik Gertz
Research and Development
Frederik studied biotechnology and did his masters degree with a focus on bioprocess development at the University
of Applied Sciences Mannheim where he met Valentin and joined AUCTEQ in November 2017. He is experienced in cell culture processes and has a background in quality assurance of medical devices.
Karin Arregui
Mentor
Karin has coached various startups at home and abroad. She holds an Executive MBA from INSEAD with a focus on Entrepreneurship and supports the team in business-related topics. Before being appointed as professor at the University of Applied Sciences Mannheim, she developed medical devices and drug delivery systems at Boehringer Ingelheim.
Philipp Wiedemann
Scientific Advisor
Philipp has more than 20 years of experience in cell culture technology and related areas. Before joining the University of Applied Sciences Mannheim, he worked for biotech companies in Germany and abroad, amongst others in the large scale production of biopharmaceuticals. He has supported the team from the very start in fields related to cell culture, process development and technical topics.
